Alabama high school student lands $2-plus million in scholarships

Annsley Wallace wants to dedicate her life to helping others.

The Hooper Academy senior has made strides towards making that dream come true: She’s received more than $2.5 million in scholarships so far from the over 65 colleges and universities she’s applied to attend.

Her top choice for now is Troy University. She wants to work in the medical field, and she’s narrowed her goals to majoring in kinesiology and going on to to work in physical therapy.

Other schools she’s been accepted to include Albion College, University of Tampa, Azusa Pacific University and University of Alabama.
