Eligibility Criteria For Australia Scholarships 2021-2022

  • Follow the instructions below.
    • Participants must be from a qualified country.
    • Must be at least 18 years old on February 1, the year the scholarship begins.
    • Do not become an Australian citizen, take up permanent residence in Australia, or apply for a visa to stay in Australia permanently.
    • At any time during the application, do not marry, be associated with, or marry any person who is an Australian or New Zealand citizen or eligible for permanent residence.
    • Students will be able to meet all the requirements of the Home Department to obtain a visa.

Australian Financial Scholarship 2021-2022 Application procedure

If you plan to apply, you must read the Australian Awards Scholarship Policy. The handbook provides information on general information including eligibility requirements, selection process, entitlements, and responsibilities. Note that the Department of Foreign Affairs and Commerce may review and update the Handbook at any time without notice.

Visit the Australia Scholarship Information System (OASIS) online. When you register online, you will need to answer some questions to establish your eligibility. You will then be given a unique registration number, username, and password.

You do not need to submit your application instantly. You can compile and update a draft application form, and your supporting documents, according to the profile of the relevant participating country, by the designated deadline.

Once submitted, your application for the Australian Awards Scholarship cannot be changed. We urge applicants to apply online before the deadline. OSIS is used more in the days leading up to the deadline and applicants may face delays.
