Each University of New Haven College offers a limited number of Provost Assistance and Dean’s Scholarships to various academic departments. All full-time domestic and international Master’s students interested in Provost Assistance or Dean Scholarships must complete their application for admission by the deadline for consideration.
The University of New Haven Scholarship is a fully-funded master’s scholarship for international students. This scholarship is for a Master’s degree only. The scholarship will provide an opportunity to experiment and learn for your graduate program, 75% tuition support, and one hour of full-time work.

To qualify for the University of New Haven Scholarship, the candidate must fulfill all of the following requirements below:

- Candidates must already have a good pre-qualification record
- Applicants from all over the world can apply for this scholarship
- Seekers must be enrolled in a master’s degree program at this university
How to apply for a New Haven Scholarship
No separate application is required for the scholarship. All you need to do is apply for a master’s degree from a university.
Upload the following documents.
- Copies from all colleges or universities (in English) attended. Copies should be collected in sealed envelopes and sent directly to the Admissions Office. If official documents are not available, non-official documents can be uploaded through the online application system for preliminary review only. However, all official documents must be obtained before the start of classes for the admission semester.
- Two Letters of Recommendation
- A Statement of Purpose
- A resume or curriculum vitae

- Students applying for a graduate degree program in our Tagliatela College of Engineering must meet one of the following minimum scores:
- TOEFL: 75
- IELTS: 6.0
- PTE: 50
- Students applying for a graduate degree program in our College of Arts & Sciences, School of Health Sciences, Henry C. Lee College or our Pompea College of Business must meet one of the following minimum scores:
- TOEFL: 80
- IELTS: 6.5
- PTE: 53
- Alternatively, a student can complete the University of New Haven’s Academic English Preparatory Program.
- Students applying for a graduate degree program in our Tagliatela College of Engineering must meet one of the following minimum scores:

Merit-based scholarships such as the Distinguished Scholar Award and Presidential Scholarships are awarded by the University of New Haven Office undergraduate admission at the time of admission and acknowledge the student’s academic achievement.
University of New Haven admissions is selected with an acceptance rate of 83 electives. Half of the applicants entering the University of New Haven have an SAT score between 1030 and 1220 or an ACT score of 21 and 27. However, a quarter of the applicants who entered received scores above these limits, and a quarter received scores below these limits. The application deadline is approaching and the application fee at the University of New Haven is $50.
